Junior Stylist

Pay & Schedule

• Full-time, 30–40 hours/week
• Part-time may be considered
• Hands-on training and mentorship

Responsibilities

• Perform basic hair services such as basic haircuts, blowouts, simple trims, basic color applications, and toners under supervision
• Shampoo, condition, and prepare guests for services
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and salon environment
• Greet guests warmly and assist with check-ins and general customer service
• Support stylists and the manager with daily salon operations, including shampooing, conditioning, treatments, laundry, sweeping, stocking, and light cleaning
• Learn and follow salon service standards, protocols, and product knowledge
• Assist with retail recommendations and guest education
• Contribute to our social media and educational content, including reels, before-and-afters, and quick tutorials
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-focused atmosphere
• Learn from experienced stylists and actively develop your technical and guest-service skills

Requirements

• Active Texas Cosmetology License
• Basic knowledge of haircutting, styling, and color application
• Basic understanding of salon services and professional hair-care products
• Friendly, reliable, and eager to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional attitude and willingness to follow salon standards and direction
• Ability to work collaboratively with experienced stylists and management
